about

This song has been compared to Bohemian Rhapsody, which we don't believe is true, but I felt is worthy of mention. Our mini-rock-opera of sorts, if you will. One boy. One mission. One journey through high school. What will he produce with all the rampant thoughts running around his head? This song; the final thank you, fuck you, or what-have-you. A final goodbye from your favorite anti-rabbit band.

lyrics

"Make the most of your time," they say
"Four years feels like only a couple days"
Building and burning bridges of friends
Some days made it feel like it wouldn't ever end

I remember my first time here
I was still young, but the child had disappeared
Wanting salvation, but needing love
Faking religion, then creating a lack thereof

And when I returned love was there
Waiting for me through the fog and the filthy air
And when it was time to say goodbye
I almost became another stone in the river and died

And although we would come to meet again,
Winter came, and with it brought our end
Soon an angel brought me a new day
Half a year later, she's the one that got away

And in one day, i knew that my life was gone
A queen to me, but to her I'm just another pawn

And now I've got these dead end friends
God help me, we're coming down with the bends
I am slowly drowning
And my heart is pounding
And my head is clouding
And these days I'm counting
And there is no doubting my fate

Now it's time to graduate
Pack your belongings, turn and disintegrate
Faces flash at me and say goodbye
Farewell I guess I'll see them on the other side

Thinking back to when I was a child,
I always knew this day would make me smile
A wasted youth and a lost year
Missed the gun, now run into a world of fears
